Picked 7th by the Golden State Warriors in the 2021 NBA draft, the 6’8” PF had the chance to play alongside the Baby-Faced Assassin from the get-go. In an interview with 947 Joburg, Kuminga praised Steph as a teammate and a human being. The young hooper had only good things to say about his franchise leader.
“Even if you don’t want to, he’s going to find you and come talk to you. That’s the thing people don’t see behind the scenes. He’s the best human being I’ve ever been around.”
The Congolese athlete went as far as to say, “Steph Curry is like the perfect human being.”

Kuminga has great mentors to learn from

He is currently on a 4-year, $24.9 million rookie contract, which means he will get a lot of time to learn from greats like Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and latest addition Point God Chris Paul.
