Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green’s girlfriend, Draya Michele, celebrated an important milestone on Thursday. The 22-year-old guard’s girlfriend completed her 40th trip around the sun. Green showed her his love and appreciation on her special day in an Instagram post for the world to see. Michele later also shared a hilarious update.

In an IG story, Jalen shared a picture of Michele and him smiling while hugging each other. The picture was really wholesome if you ask us. He also wrote a short message as a caption, acknowledging her special day. The caption read, “Happy Pday to the realest on my side,” nestled alongside a heart emoji. “I love you @drayamichele,” he concluded his short and sweet post for his girlfriend.

Though their relationship has been public knowledge for quite a while now, the couple doesn’t really post each other all that often. It’s mostly pictures of themselves or their various fits and endeavors. So it’s really heartwarming to see Jalen Green make this post on Michele’s special day.

Michele reposted Green’s stories on Instagram and others that wished her a happy birthday. Although among these re-shares, Michele also took the time to share a hilarious update with her fans.

Draya Michele shares aftermath of 40th birthday bash

After reposting Green’s story, Michele posted two hysterical stories as updates following the party that happened at midnight on her 40th birthday. In front of her followers, she addressed that she’d made a mistake the night prior.

 Here’s how she captioned the story: “They made me take shots at midnight. Huge mistake.” In the story itself, Michele appears sleep-deprived and a little hungover, still lying on her bed in relaxed attire. The camera was focused on her face, which was half-buried in her pillow.

“I woke up, I’m alive. Thank you God!” she said. “It’s my birthday! I’m extremely sleepy. Actually, I’ll report back once I’ve had my coffee,” Michele finished, addressing her 9.4 million followers. She then posted another story that had her followers in stitches. 

In the subsequent story, Jalen Green’s girlfriend’s camera was pointed at the ceiling. The caption gave her followers a little more context. “Apparently there’s a bee nest in the ceiling and the bees kept sneaking in here and I don’t play with bees.” This was what the caption read.

“I don’t know if anyone’s ever noticed that I have these lights up there and they’re like taped up. Well. Since we’re here,” she trailed off, letting the caption explain the rest.

She also used a Michael Jordan meme in one of her stories, letting fans know her Zodiac sign. It’s Aquarius, by the way, if you were curious. Born on February 17, the 6x NBA Finals MVP shares Michele’s zodiac sign. Amusing to think they have this in common.

Despite the infrequency, Jalen Green’s post for Draya was really wholesome. And it simply reinforced in our minds the integrity of the bond shared by this power couple!
