American rapper, singer, and songwriter Travis Scott has been a long and true fan of basketball. As a Houston native, there are no qualms about the Rockets being his favorite team. But his love for the sport draws him to attend the games of different teams. And tonight, the record producer made his presence known in the Clippers vs. Bulls game. LA brought home the win with a 112-102 score. While James Harden was making waves in Houston, the two struck up a friendship that is still strong. So, it could be that Travis came to support his friend as well.

The said friend did not disappoint at all! Harden hit his second triple-double of the season with 14 points, 10 assists, and 11 rebounds. Although the Clippers didn’t start off strong, the second half saw them catch fire. After all, now they understood what they were up against. Paul George led the team in scoring with 22 points, with Kawhi Leonard right behind with 19.

With 3:19 left on the clock, George goes for a huge layup while a Harden triple pushed the Clippers’ lead to double digits. Despite the Bulls’ obvious elite clutch swag (Chicago has the third-best net rating in the league), they couldn’t keep up with a superstar-laden LA Clippers.

Anyway, with tonight’s victory, Los Angeles extended their winning streak to two. It wouldn’t be too much to assume that the charm “La Flame” brought to the court helped too. Harden certainly benefitted from it and why wouldn’t he? The two have a solid relationship!

Travis Scott and James Harden’s friendship has grown to be a “real brotherhood”

NBA and rap are birds of the same flock. As are the artists and players. With many of them growing up in the same neighborhood, they understand the struggles of each other. The kind of motivation and determination they had to have if they wanted to live a better life. Therefore, it’s not surprising to see such strong friendships from the maestros of their respective fields.

James Harden and Travis Scott are no different. In a Billboard interview (2019), Harden summarized their friendship quite beautifully. “We give each other confidence. We talk about how we can be better in our own class,” he said. “It’s really grown to be a real brotherhood and a friendship. It’s pretty dope.”

They are always cheering for each other and are the first in line to support causes important to either of them. Harden has featured in Scott’s albums, while the Latin Grammy Award winner pretty much is present for The Beard’s games as and when his schedule fits. On one occasion, the ex-Rockets star gifted a custom-made CACTI jeep as a late birthday present. Clearly, the two have a tight relationship!
