Can Tyrese Haliburton's recent performance ignite a new era for the Indiana Pacers?

Indeed, a game to remember! The Indiana Pacers didn’t let their injury troubles get the best of them. Thus what we witnessed at the American Airlines Center was sheer grit to bounce back. Luka Doncic’s 34 points couldn’t save the Dallas Mavericks from a 127-134 defeat. Meanwhile, it was Tyrese Haliburton & Co. who stole the show with full force. But the Timekeeper didn’t limit the action to the parquet floor. Because his lady love, Jade Jones, was enjoying courtside despite a small mishap.

Jade Jones was all smiles as she cheered on her boyfriend, Tyrese Haliburton, who took the spotlight for the Indiana Pacers on Monday night. Sitting alongside NBA dancer Tyra Thompson, the two appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the game, with Jade particularly enthusiastic about Haliburton’s performance. However, her night wasn’t entirely smooth sailing—she faced a brief setback when her flight home was canceled. Despite this, she managed to brush off the worry, fully immersing herself in the thrilling atmosphere of the game, as Haliburton and his team delivered a performance worth celebrating.

So, keeping aside her travel mishaps for the day, Jade Jones began her game night celebrations in the arena itself. Seated with a glass of drinks, Tyrese Haliburton’s girlfriend swayed to the music while Tyra Thompson hopped with excitement. Sharing this moment on her IG Story, Jade Jones captioned: “flight got cancelled straight to the game 🫡”

The Indiana Pacers’ guard, Tyrese Haliburton is yet to find his rhythm in the 2024/25 season. However, he finally shone in Monday’s 134-127 win over Dallas, scoring 25 points with 12 assists. He shot 10-of-16 from the field but struggled with three-pointers (2-of-8). Despite a rocky start, Haliburton has now notched four straight games with double-digit assists. His field goal percentage has improved to 38.2%, though it’s still below last season’s average.

Seven games down, Tyrese Haliburton’s average of 15.6 points per game seems a bit unimpressive. This is also because of how brilliant he’s been in the last season. Moreover, his Paris Olympics 2024 chapter with Team USA has added to the expectations. But, with an 82-game long season, this is just the beginning.
