Jaylen Brown‘s social media activities haven’t come to a halt, as the hate reaches NBA players. Recently, Brown’s tweet went viral when the Finals MVP wrote “f**k tatum” in an exchange with a fan. While Brown later deleted the post, this sparked quite a controversy around JB. This happened after Brown’s snub from Team USA, his diss track on Nike, and the talks around the duo dismantling in the near future. Amid all the drama, Hawks star, Trae Young decided to turn off such tweets.
Young unfollowed JB on Twitter! But what does this mean? Jayson Tatum and Young are good friends off the court. While some might believe Young to side with JT on this, the rumors aren’t confirmed just yet. On the other hand, JB’s offseason has been full of surprises. The shooting guard does not hesitate to take things to Twitter. When Team USA decided to pick Derrick White to replace Kawhi Leonard, Brown’s Twitter was full of all sorts of comments towards Nike and other critics.

Shortly after, Jaylen Brown dropped a diss track on Nike with A$AP Ferg. Now, this may alarm Boston fans, as this controversy might cause problems in the locker room. However, both players had enough fuel to fire their motivation for the upcoming season. Apart from Brown, Tatum’s DNPs during the Olympics sparked controversy around Steve Kerr, as many claimed that the Warriors head coach wasn’t a fan of the Celtics.
Now, the two have all the reasons to dominate next season and defend their title. But with recent events in light, it’s tough to figure out how the locker room situation will be once the players hit training camp. This does not only affect Jaylen Brown and Tatum’s relationship on the floor but also the Celtics’ hopes of building a dynasty. A versatile small forward who made the All-NBA First Team. The Finals MVP shooting guard who can score from beyond the arc as well as the mid-range. Two decorated defensive powerhouses who are also efficient scorers. All this paired with the Unicorn to make up one of the most balanced rosters in the league. But how do they utilize them?
Well, the Celtics have a legitimate chance to build a dynasty and establish themselves as title contenders for quite some time. However, the locker room energy has to align just perfectly if the squad is looking to repeat the title. Being the favorites to win the title next year, puts a lot of pressure on the players.
Jaylen Brown and company have the East standing against them
Teams like the Sixers and the Knicks have drastically upgraded their rosters this offseason. Not only that but if the Bucks manage to play a healthy season, these three squads can be a tougher challenge for the Celtics next year. But this is nothing short of an opportunity for the Celtics to solidify themselves as a dynasty. In fact, if the Celtics can maintain their stature similar to how they did last year, there is no doubt that they’ll have a stronger chance of making it out of the East yet again.
Brown and Tatum played the best basketball of their career during the past postseason. Jrue Holiday and Derrick White also shined with their contributions on the defensive end. Overall, the squad is well-balanced and only needs to keep it going, as the championship window stays open for Boston.
