Some have been drawing knowledge straight out of their masters. One such example is Trae Young, who recently admitted to picking Stephen Curry‘s brain.

Young, after the World Cup snub, has been even more fuel for a successful season. In addition to making an admission on Curry, Young also revealed that the Golden State Warriors superstar is his GOAT when it comes to point guards.

The 25-year-old has been revered to be the next best thing ever since he entered the league. Although Young has lived up to the hype, he still has a long way to go in his career. The 2x All-Star is yet to achieve the big accolades in his career, but going by his dedication to the craft, it looks certain. Additionally, he has been taking cues from the masters to hone his craft further. And who better than Chef Curry himself if you want to learn how to be a better athlete?

Recalling details of their interactions, Young revealed the things that he has learned from the Warriors star this off-season. The 35-year-old is extremely fond of the youngster as well and the two were spotted training together a few months ago. Young said, Steph taught me a lot about focusing on my breathing“. He said that the “little tricks and things” that Curry has that make him great, Young has tried to soak everything in for his benefit.

The Atlanta Hawks star didn’t just stop there, he even gave Curry the highly contested crown in the NBA.

Trae Young salutes the greatness of Stephen Curry

While we may never get a definitive answer on the GOAT debate in the NBA, there are other conversations on the same line that have not been concluded yet. One such argument is “the best point guard ever”. Although there are several candidates fit for the role, Curry’s name pops up at the upper tier very often. Giving his 2 cents on the question, Young said, “Obviously, probably he’s the best point guard ever“.
