In April this year, the Boston Celtics star launched his own candy line, named Small Wins. The aim of the venture was to provide healthier sweets for kids of his son, Deuce’s age, after testing the formula multiple times. Recently, the 25-year-old sent a hand-picked batch of it to his fellow NBA player, John Wall.
The 33-year-old had a rough couple of months since receiving the cut from the Clippers. Currently a free agent, the point guard must be looking to get back into the league as soon as possible. Thus, in the midst of his problems, he appreciated the efforts of Tatum to deliver the package.
Uploading an image of it, John gave a shout-out to the 4-time All-Star before sharing his excitement. He pointed out the enthusiasm, stating, “Too hyped,” upon referring to the kids in the household as ‘Wallwayboyz’. Jayson took notice of Wall’s admiration and he expressed his gratitude soon after.
After months of humiliation from the NBA and its teams, the 6’3 guard finally received something meaningful for his family. As there is little to no time left ahead of an upcoming campaign, John looks forward to possibly more.

One of the biggest criticisms of him throughout his career has been his lack of fitness. Despite possessing the ability to change a match’s momentum on his own, Wall has often failed to keep himself out of injuries. Thus, in his 13 seasons in the league, he has only played 82 games for once and less than 50 games on five occasions.
Especially in his last four seasons, John played in only 147 regular season matches due to his fitness struggles. It made him a bench played during his time in LA as he started only 3 of his 34 games last season. Amidst the challenges, he still maintained a decent average in his time in the league.
