Celebrations, celebrations, and more celebrations. That’s what the James family has been doing over the past few days. But Savannah James knew she needed a break. And what better way to balance it all than by heading off on a vacation? This time, it wasn’t with the family, but with her favorite girl pal and the podcast “Everybody’s Crazy” co-host, April McDaniel. And the ladies clearly had no interest in distractions during their scenic retreat 2734 miles away from LA.

April shared a clip on Instagram where she and Savannah received notifications, but both chose to ignore it. Next, the video shows them enjoying some quality time away from the city’s hustle and bustle, surrounded by scenic beauty. Wondering about their whereabouts? April made it clear in the reel with a text that read: “I hope this email finds you well.” The email not finding me. Because we are in Miami.

If that wasn’t enough April also added a caption asking to excuse them, “Pardon us while we unplug for a sec.” Both Savannah and April looked cozy in their comfy attire, accessorized with stacks of bracelets and necklaces to match the laid-back vibe.

The video was even more stunning thanks to the picturesque backdrop. The clear blue sky was dotted with fluffy clouds and what appeared to be the mesmerizing shades of blue water stretching out behind them while they let loose on the yacht.

The week had been incredibly tiring for Savannah James. December 30 was a day that definitely needed to be celebrated, as her superstar husband, LeBron James, turned 40. Such a milestone called for massive celebrations, followed by New Year’s Eve festivities. By that time, Savannah was already feeling the exhaustion.

In one of DJ Meel’s Instagram stories, who had been invited to ring in the new year with the James family, he shared a clip showing Savannah sitting on the sofa, casually surfing her phone while LeBron kept the dance floor alive. “She def tired of us *laughing emoji*” the DJ captioned the story.

So, the trip with April was certainly the much-needed getaway Savannah deserved, but she made sure to fulfill her mommy duties before setting off with her business partner.

Now that LeBron and Savannah’s elder son, Bronny, had made his future plans known, curiosity started to build around the younger son, Bryce James. The 17-year-old was finally at the age to choose a college after wrapping up his time at Sierra Canyon. And he decided to commit to the University of Arizona.

Mama Savannah couldn’t contain her pride and shared the exciting news with her IG family. “So proud of you @_justbryce!! 💙❤️ Your silent hustle has definitely not gone unnoticed!! I’m so excited for you and I can’t wait to cheer you on through this journey! 🐻 Down! 💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️” the mother of three wrote.

No matter how far Savannah James is, she knows how to cheer the loudest when it comes to her family and she’s proven that time and time again over nearly two decades. So, you can take the girl out of LA, but you can’t take her away from her family as she stays strongly connected with them no matter where she is.
