Anthony Edwards hilariously threatens Karl-Anthony Towns in front of a room full of reporters. After an embarrassing stretch in the series with three-straight losses, the Minnesota Timberwolves came alive in the series, forcing Game 5. Thanks to Ant-Man and Towns for showing their brilliance at the end. Despite avoiding a clean sweep, the 22-year-old rising superstar was upset with Towns with his error on the court tonight.

During the post-game press conference, a reporter asked Edwards about the five fouls he committed in his 29-point outing. Edwards, taken aback by the question, buried his head into the stat sheet and asked Towns, “What I tell you about fouling?”

The big man with a smirk on his face, said, “You have five,” leaving the reporters to burst into laughter. In response, Edwards took a dig at Towns for fouling out, and said, “But I didn’t foul out… Imma beat him up on the bus y’all.” Towns, taking the comment sportively, said, “Get out of here. Don’t believe that.”

This isn’t the first time in the postseason that this duo grabbed the NBA world’s attention with their hilarious pressers. Especially, after the dramatic Game 7 win against the Denver NuggetsAnt-Man didn’t let Towns breathe for a second. When the 7 ‘0 big man spoke about his time in the Wolves fold, saying, “For me, being here nine years, I’ve seen everything and seen it all,” Edwards was quick to cut him. Ant-Man interrupted Towns and said, “Man, f–k them nine years.” The big man did nothing but give his partner a friendly stare.

Following that, when Towns said, he hadn’t thought about the next moment (Conference Finals vs. Mavs), the rising superstar again interrupted and said, “I’m thinking about it.” Despite the banter during the pressers, the duo showed their camaraderie on the floor tonight to force Game 5.

Will KAT and Anthony Edwards force Game 6?

Even though the duo seemed to be going after each other off the court, they complimented one another on the court tonight. With the series on the line, the Wolves needed their two best players to show up when it mattered the most. The duo dropped 16 points together in the last quarter, to produce a clutch 105-100 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

Notably, Towns dropped three 3-pointers in the last quarter alone to take the game away from the Mavs. Especially, the three-pointers came in amidst the trolls that he triggered after making an expansive claim of shooting 1500 shots every day.

It came in after he had a poor night shooting the ball in Game 3, 5-18 from the field. He also went 0-8 from the arc for the first time in his career. Nevertheless, he had the opportunity to shut down his critics, dropping 25 points with 4-5 FG from the arc. On the other hand, Anthony Edwards also broke his shackles after a poor stretch.

Following his 27-point outing in Game 6 against the Nuggets, Ant-Man had a poor stretch averaging under 22 points in the next four games. The Critics also called him out for gassing out. Tonight, he decided to shut them all up with a 29-point outing with an 11-24 FG. If the duo carry their momentum forward in the next game, they can certainly force Game 6 as well.
