The NBA has become a global phenomenon in recent years, and Stephen Curry has played a significant role in this transformation. Curry’s consistency and brilliance has transformed the fortunes of the Golden State Warriors. However, the work done by Steve Kerr can sometimes go under-appreciated. Under his leadership, the Warriors have become synonymous with winning and success. In ten years, the Dubs have won four NBA titles.

Curry’s extraordinary shooting abilities have been front and center in this era of Warriors dominance, and Kerr has cleverly taken advantage of his immense shooting arsenal. Kerr and Curry share a wonderful working equation, and recently, Kerr praised Curry’s exceptional shot-making skills.

Stephen Curry’s stellar performances over the last decade has made him one of the greatest players in the NBA. He also is, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest shooter in NBA history. Recently, Steve Kerr called Curry “the greatest showman” during an interview with Rachel Nichols. He said, “He’s one of the greatest showmen that I’ve ever seen. Like you (Curry) love the spectacular. You love to do something that nobody else does.”

Kerr also commended Curry’s willingness to take long-range threes and not worry about the statistics. He said, “One of my favorite things about Steph… He flings a shot, 90ft, that actually comes close, and that shot goes against him on the scoreboard. He takes these shots every game.” After Kerr’s glowing remarks, Curry replied by saying, “Throw a grenade every once in a while.”

While Curry has had a great career, he still has the hunger to win more titles and further cement his legacy in the history books of the NBA. However, things haven’t gone according to plan for Curry and the Warriors this season, as they languish outside the play-in spots of the Western Conference.

Can the Warriors still win the NBA title?

Before the start of the season, the Warriors fans had high hopes for another title challenge. They started the season well, but their form and performance petered out as the season progressed. They currently occupy the 11th spot in the Western Conference standings, with 10 wins and 12 defeats.

Other than Steph, most of the players on the Warriors’ roster are enduring a slump in form. Klay Thompson, one of the most reliable players, is having his worst season since his rookie year. He has averaged 15.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists this season. Other facets like Draymond’s suspension and Wiggins’ poor form have also contributed to their slump. The Warriors look miles away from a title challenge right now. But they have proven their skeptics wrong before, so don’t rule out a Warriors’ resurgence.
