3 Years After Paul George and Patrick Beverley Mockery, Damian Lillard Sends NBA a Stern Warning: ?If I Feel Like It?s Disrespect Involved..?

One such moment was when Pat Bev mocked the Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard during a game in the Bubble. Portland was trailing the Los Angeles Clippers by one point, and Dame got a chance to shoot the game-winning free throws with 18 seconds left on the clock. Unfortunately, Lillard missed both free throws, and the Clippers ended up winning the game. Beverley had a hilarious reaction to Dame?s misses as he laughed so hysterically that he fell to the floor.

Three years after a heated back and forth on Twitter with Beverley and his superstar teammate Paul George, Dame sent a stern warning to his trolls.

Damian Lillard was part of the It Is What It Is Podcast, where he addressed his NBA ?trolls?. Dame was asked how he feels when players like Paul George and Patrick Beverley disrespect him. Lillard recalled the instance when he missed the free throws and was mocked by Pat Bev, ?I can think of maybe two times in my career where I have missed two free-throws at the end of a game.? Lillard has proven in his illustrious career that he is one of the most clutch players in NBA history.

He sent Patrick Beverley home in the first round of the 2014 playoffs when Pat was playing for the Houston Rockets. And he sent Beverley?s former teammate Paul George packing after he hit a dagger over PG to eliminate him from the 2019 playoffs. He reminded the two players of their embarrassing exit from the playoffs on separate occasions, ?They know what I do.? In the podcast, the 7-time All-Star gave a stern warning to all the trash talkers in the NBA, ?Anytime it?s a back and forth, if I feel like there is disrespect involved, Imma go straight to disrespect.?
