Aaron Rodgers, one of the best NFL quarterbacks ever to play, suffered a major setback. Rodgers suffered a torn Achilles tendon in the first game for the Jets of the new NFL season.

Aaron Rodgers received thousands of well wishes. There was one heartfelt note from the $3.9 billion dollar Bucks heiress that was talked about the most.

Aaron Rodgers’ involvement with the Bucks

In the opening game for the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers suffered a serious Achilles tendon tear which could rule him out for the entirety of the season. After posting about the severity of the injury on his Instagram handle, wishes started to pour in. Mallory Edens, daughter of Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens, commented on the post by using the heart emoji.

Prior to playing for the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers played for the Green Bay Packers for almost 19 years. While playing for the Packers, Rodgers won a Super Bowl and four MVP trophies. In 2014, Wes Edens, along with Marc Lasry, bought the Bucks for around $550 million. Aaron Rodgers was also a stakeholder in the ownership group that bought the Bucks. Rodgers is a very revered figure in Wisconsin because of his achievements with the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. In fact, Milwaukee is just an hour and a half away from Green Bay.

Uncertain Future for the Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks fans would not be happy with the demeanor of their star player, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak has constantly stated in the media this offseason that he would look for green pastures if the Bucks don’t contend this season. Time is running out for the front office to build a team that can satisfy Giannis’s hunger for success.

The Bucks had the oldest roster in the NBA last season, with an average age of around 29.4 years. The Bucks have an aging squad with very few young talented players who can be of help in the playoffs. Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, and Jrue Holiday all are on the wrong side of 30. And this season could prove to be the last for this core if they do not perform well. The Bucks could be looking at a rebuild next summer if Giannis leaves.
