Anthony Edwards knows how to keep the crowd engaged and keep them up on their feet all night. But that’s not all he is good at. Ant-Man’s trash-talking has often been the talk of the town. It became particularly popular after his character, Kermit Wilts, from Hustle. Many fans believed that he wasn’t acting, but rather living, being the antagonist to Bo Cruz in the film. While Kermit might have come across as a little too over the top, Anthony Edwards isn’t too far behind. A day after the Mavs Game 4 upset, the leaked audio of him roughing Kyrie Irving up mid-game has caught the internet in flames.

In the video by LegendZ Productions, when Kai passed him by on the court, Ant-Man subtly asked him, “You thought it was over?” Don’t forget that the veteran was quite jovial during pre-game practice about the situation of the Timberwolves. “This is their Super Bowl. It’s just a normal game for us.” The Wolves won the so-called Super Bowl, and Edwards was sure to let ‘Uncle Drew’ know that.

Funny enough, before Kai, the 22-year-old had his sharp eyes set on the Mavs’ young guard, Jaden Hardy. The 21-year-old had a stare-down with Edwards in the third quarter, which he gladly returned in a short while. But he didn’t stop with that. “You alright young fella?” Anthony Edwards asked after sinking a shot right in his face. Leave it to ANT to hand out comebacks at the appropriate time. Then again, the Minnesota superstar always had his sight on Kyrie Irving, didn’t he?

If there’s one thing Anthony loves as much as winning, it is big stages and even bigger names! And he has no qualms talking about a big game. While it sometimes gets him in trouble, for instance, the backlash for saying he wanted the MJ comparisons to stop, more often than not, Ant-Man delivers. Unfortunately, the one he had for the 2016 NBA champion pretty much backfired.

Talking to reporters after the Conference Semifinals victory, Edwards said, “My matchup is going to be Kyrie, so it’s going to be fun. We’re going to see what I can do versus him.” The man to whom it was intended, was in fact, waiting for an NBA Finals appearance for quite some time. As such, the results were catastrophic. In the first three games, at least.

Anyway, the Mavericks will have to travel to Target Center and hopefully close the series. The tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 PM ET. It is surely going to be a blockbuster game! Stay tuned for more details!
