Warriors fans were left seething after an unexpected twist in a nail-biter against the Nuggets, with Nikola Jokic’s buzzer-beater securing a shocking win. But what really made Dub Nation mad was Steve Kerr’s surprising choice to keep Jonathan Kuminga sitting out during the important last minutes.

Kerr’s questionable call

After the game ended, Kerr tried to explain why he picked Wiggins. He said it was because Wiggins was playing really well and their team was doing fine without Kuminga on the court. “He was playing great,” Kerr insisted. “We were up 18-19, whatever it was. So I stayed with the group that was out there, and obviously, we couldn’t close it out.”

But fans of the Warriors did not accept it. Here are some fan reactions.

A fan on X said, “Wiggs was rolling? He was a minus 14. Kerr doesn’t seem to sense the real impact of a player.”

Another fan added, “It never ends, does it?” The sentiment was clear: Kerr’s choice made people very angry.
