LeBron James turned 39 recently, and still consistently shoulders his team. Importantly, with age, the athletes’ injuries also seep through frequently. But, in the case of The Akron Hammer, the story is entirely different. For instance, during the Thursday night outing against the Phoenix Suns, James left an NBA legend in disbelief after his injury scare on the court. Moreover, it also gave rise to a bold claim involving Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.

Reggie Miller has found himself amid intense action several times this season. Not as a player, but as a commentator. Earlier, he broadcasted the Stephen Curry magic against the Boston Celtics. Tonight, he turned up at the Crypto.com Arena for the Lakers-Suns clash.

During the second quarter of the game, while running on the lane, LeBron James accidentally twisted his ankle, stepping on Suns’ Udoka Azubuike’s foot. He seemed in immense pain following the impact as he limped around for a while. After a brief moment, he got back into the game without flinching.

In response to the moment, surprise took aback Reggie Miller, who was broadcasting the game. He said, “He is not normal people, this is not normal.” Moreover, he claimed that the NBA world would expect a similar marvel from the other superstars, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry, who are in their mid-thirties, and the later stage of their careers.

Reggie Miller on rookie James

Miller didn’t just speak about the current domination and accolades of the Lakers superstar but found his capabilities during his rookie season itself.

The NBA legend could only play one season against James, and it was enough to judge him. Having faced both Michael Jordan and the King, Miller also said both were GOATs in their own era, reported Fansided. He even said that the IST trophy should be named after James via NBA on TNT.
