The Ball family is on the rise. Well, most of them! Obviously, leading the pack is the youngest Ball Brother, LaMelo, who is playing his career’s best basketball in Charlotte. Meanwhile, the oldest one, Lonzo, miraculously returned to the court this season after missing nearly three years of action because of multiple knee surgeries. But amid Lonzo and LaMelo’s success, their third brother, LiAngelo is still waiting his turn to make it to the big leagues. Adding to his struggles, Gelo recently faced humiliation in front of thousands of fans as streamer N3on beat him at his own game, which even Patrick Beverley noticed.

During The Pat Bev Podcast, the former Bucks star talked about his experience being a part of N3on’s stream, “We’ve been trying to do some streams you know trying to catch the raid wave of the stream vibe coz I’m a big fan of all streamers.” Sure enough, the duo even competed in a shooting contest, the loser of which would walk on the street with their clothes off. Beverley won that challenge and pointed it out on his podcast, along with interesting details.

“I had his a– outside running naked… challenge me to a motherf—— shooting contest like I’m a f—— Rudy Poo. And then he challenged the dude, the Ball Brother and beat him… Yeah, he beat his a– like a drum. Beverley revealed, referring to LiAngelo Ball.

Yes, just a few days after collaborating with Beverley, N3on did a live stream with Gelo and the two competed in a half-court shooting contest.

Going first in the challenge, Gelo made four of his ten shots. Surprisingly, N3on embarrassed the Ball Brother by sinking five shots from the same spot. Adding salt to Gelo’s wounds, the streamer even taunted him with LeBron James’ iconic ‘Silencer’ celebration. Seeing N3on’s antics and meeting him in person, Beverley claimed, “He Wild!”

LiAngelo Ball still hopeful about NBA Dream, seeking his Brothers’ help

Apart from getting dominated in a shooting contest, LiAngelo also had deep conversations with N3on regarding his career aspirations. Obviously, he has never played a game in the NBA and even tried his hands playing overseas. However, making it to the same league as his brothers remains his ultimate goal, “Hell yeah! I would love to go to the NBA and play with my brothers and s—.”

And he is ready to grind for his spot, “This is what I think how my path gotta go. I’ve gotta go to the G League, get a little film or some s— there.”

But it looks like Gelo is also seeking his brothers’ help to get him some added leverage by saying, “Then my brothers gonna have to pull a little weight, that’s just in all honesty.” He believes that people and maybe even front offices want to see the Ball Brothers play together, and LiAngelo is just looking for his brothers to help him get a chance. “It ain’t gonna hurt you. I’m not asking for a billion.”

Well, the Hornets did sign him two years ago, but Gelo could not capitalize on that opportunity. Hopefully, he will get a chance once again before it’s too late. Do you want to see the Ball Brothers hoop together in the NBA?
