23-year-old NBA superstar Ja Morant is currently enduring one of the worst phases of his career. Not too long ago, he recently received a 25-game suspension in the next season for showing a firearm on Instagram Live. Notably, the Grizzlies star received an 8-game suspension following a similar incident back in March. Although he went through rehabilitation, it seems like his behavior did not change, as he got suspended again 2 months later.

Interestingly, many people thought the verdict from NBA commissioner Adam Silver was extremely ‘Harsh’. Morant continued getting support from peers and NBA veterans. But the player made a public appearance just recently for the first time after his verdict. But he seems to be celebrating his outing quite wildly.

Earlier this year, NBA suspended Morant for 8 games straight, without pay. He was seen flaunting ammunition in an Instagram video. And if that’s not enough, he was even spotted with a gun at a nightclub in Glendale, Colorado.

After being suspended twice in a row, fans and analysts showered him with immense support and love.

Former Grizzlies star, Gilbert Arenas, recently came out and showed his support for Morant, as he called the suspension “unfair.” He further said, “It’s too harsh. it’s public perception. The public wants him to be stopped. So, now the NBA comes in and says, ‘All right, we have to make it look reasonable.

Morant’s sister Niya also supported her brother, as she took to social media and wrote, “I got your back no matter what and I always will. Comeback gone be something serious! I stamp it!”

Notably, Morant was also allegedly involved in various other incidents, apart from the firearm incident. Despite the victim pressing charges for this situation, the police did not take action. Ja Morant roamed freely. And considering all the events, they all took place within a span of 3-4 months.

And despite the backlash he received from certain fans, he doesn’t seem to learn his lesson. It definitely seems like he’s taking his suspension differently. He’s ‘partying’ it all out in the Dominican Republic.

Ja Morant had a wild celebration at a Dominican club

Amidst controversial circumstances, Morant decided to have a night out with his peers. He was seen partying and letting it loose at a club in Punta Cana. And to top it all, he was even throwing money across the club, going completely overboard with the celebration.

It’s worth noting that Morant is still suspended for 25 games in the upcoming season. This also included all pre-season games. Also, he won’t be able to participate in any on-court activities with the Grizzlies.

Right after his suspension, Ja did make a public apology. He promised the world, “I’m spending the offseason and my suspension continuing to work on my own mental health and decision-making. I’m also going to be training so that I’m ready to go when I can be back on the court.”

As of now, there are no reports of him being involved with a firearm at the latest party in Punta Cana; if the same thing happens again, it could potentially end his career.
