Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo recently stirred up the NBA world with his statement. The 2021 NBA Finals MVP shocked the Bucks with a confused take on his availability on the team’s roster. Following that, experts and fans swarmed social media and TV shows expressing their takes on the recent statement. However, ESPN’s star analyst, who has also won an NBA ring, dropped the hammer on the Greek Freak with his take on the latest episode.
Ever since his debut in the NBA, the Bucks star has showcased a steady growth in his performance. Notably, the star’s average points didn’t fall short of 26 points since the 2017-18 season. Moreover, he registered his highest season average of 31.1 points in the last season. On the other hand, the team failed to make it big in the postseason, despite dominating the regular season consistently. Fans on the social comments felt that the constant failed attempt at the championship might have forced the Bucks star to make the statement.

Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo recently shocked the NBA world with his recent interview with NY times. He said, “I don’t want to be 20 years on the same team and don’t win another championship.” Following this warning, experts and NBA analysts have been busy predicting the star’s next move. Since the star has the option to decide on whether to extend his contract or to jump to free agency after September 22, the update has created massive waves in the league.
In response to the statement, former NBA Champion Richard Jefferson made a harsh critique of the Greek Freak. He said, “Just because you go to another place doesn’t mean that you’re going to be guaranteed a championship.” Further, he also suggested several teams that he could land, but he also put forward an important question. He asked, “Will they be able to put a great team around him like they did in Milwaukee?”
Moreover, he argued that Antetokounmpo achieved the 2021 ring because of the very reason. He stated, “In Milwaukee they’ve put great teams around him.”
However, Giannis has similar strong statements in the past, unfazed by the critiques.
