Ever since Chris Paul got traded to the Warriors, a lot was heard about his being fit for the squad. The former Phoenix Suns All-Star point guard was determined to prove them wrong.

Experts believed that the Warriors trading a young Jordan Poole in exchange for Chris Paul would prove a disaster. The 19 years experienced ‘Point God’, explicitly proves them wrong.

In a preseason second-round game against the Lakers, he pulls up the Warriors in amazing style.

Sync with Steph Curry

The amazing connection between Curry and CP3 is a treat to watch. The score stands 70-63 at half time, in favor of the Los Angeles Lakers. The LeBron James-led squad is highly balanced against the Warriors. The San Francisco-based team, on the other hand, is no less. The game evokes the famous present day rivalry between two modern day legends, i.e., James and Curry.

An astounding bonding is displayed in a video uploaded by NBA on X (formerly Twitter). Curry, known for creating enough space, just to confuse opponent guards, does that nicely. He then passes the ball to Paul, who stood off-guarded. Paul then passes the ball back to Curry, who scores from that position. Curry did not forget to thank Paul during the celebrations. In another instance, Paul scores a net from Curry’s pass. The duo, if gets going, can go on a rampage, in the upcoming season.

Proving Critics Wrong

In a video uploaded by the ‘Warriors on NBCS’ on X, Paul opens up to Zena Keita. Keita asked about the outsiders’ take on how Paul isn’t fit for the Warriors. Chris explains that the transition to the Warriors have been seamless. He further added that it is not the first time that he heard outside noise.

I got 19 years of experience, the game hadn’t changed unless they started shooting with something different. I feel like, what I’ve been fortunate is this isn’t my first time changing teams,” Paul said. “It’s not the first time I’ve heard outside noise, so every time I change teams, everyone says ‘it’s not gonna work.'”

The Warriors, determined to bag their fifth NBA title, upgraded their roster. Paul’s addition is yet another part of their plan. The highly ambitious Paul also explains that the move was not only to increase his pay scale, but for more.
