“France is one of our favorite places to vacation,” Ayesha Curry had once shared with The People when explaining the couple’s inspiration for choosing Canon as their eldest son’s name. But it looks like that could take a nosedive after the recent experience Stephen Curry’s wife had in Paris. In a video that’s soon becoming viral, the mother of four was seen in a standoff with the French police, surrounded by Sonya Curry, Damion Lee, Sydel Curry-Lee, and the Warriors forward, Draymond Green.

The fourth-time new mom was seen wiping her eyes while cradling her newborn, Caius Chai Curry affectionately. The Currys’ eldest son, Canon Curry, was also on the scene, looking like a deer in the headlights. Although it isn’t clear what went down, it seems like the millionaire entrepreneur and little Caius were allegedly harassed.

From the looks of it, it seems like there was an argument on whether the Curry family could make their way over to the car or at least let the car come around. The car, for its part, was stuck in gridlock traffic because of French President Emmanuel Macron, exiting the area. But somehow, little Chai got caught up in the dispute and might have been clocked over the head. Or at least, that is what Green is claiming towards the end of the video.

“So, even after hitting the baby on the head, there’s nothing y’all can do about getting them out of here?” Dray asked, finally losing his patience. Steph’s mom, for her part, was furious at the way her grandson and daughter-in-law were being treated. With this video making its rounds, some of the Curry faithful tweeted their worries.

Bro they hit the baby? Did draymond just say that?

But it seems like this is just another instance in a series of terrible experiences athletes and their families have had to face in the ‘City of Love’. Of course, fans continue to share their indignity and concern for Ayesha and her children.

Ayesha Curry is just the latest victim of “Parisian hospitality” during the Olympics

It seems like few athletes, in general, haven’t had the best Olympic experience this year. There were more than enough instances to prove this. And this fan puts it in perspective with a few examples. Jordan Chiles returning her medal, last min rule changes, Ayesha Curry getting harassed, camera ppl harassing athletes, etc. Its really to hell w/ Paris! Just raggedy af! #Olympics

US gymnast, Jordan Chiles was stripped of her gold medal after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) voided the inquiry put forth by her coach, Cecile Landi. The US gymnast coach appealed to have .1 added to her score, which saw the 23-year-old jump from fifth to third place, thereby becoming eligible for the bronze medal. However, CAS ruled on Saturday that the appeal came outside the 1-minute window, leaving Chiles back in fifth and Romania’s Ana Barbosu as the bronze medalist.

The whole scenario is, to put it mildly, a mess. Discussions are still ongoing regarding this, and we are keeping a sharp eye out for updates. As for camera people harassing athletes, it could be a reference to LeBron James having a camera thrust in his face by a young fan (hopefully?) and the 4x champion forced to ask him to stop doing that.

On a similar note, this next individual seemed rightfully angry about another pair of circumstances. “Paris should really be ashamed, from athletes, having to swim in a river full of shit to refusing to allow one of the greatest sprinters of all time into her warm-ups to trying to cheat Jordan out of her metal Olympics was terrible. now this [Ayesha Curry harassment],” followed by an angry, swearing emoji.

A decline in the water quality of Seine, the result of rain over the weekend, had prompted officials to cancel the training session of triathlon events and the men’s race. Upon testing, the presence of E.Coli, a general indicator of fecal matter in the water, had caused widespread concern. The next instance was none other than when Jamaican sprint legend and track veteran, Shelly Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce was denied entry for warmup because she did not arrive in the team bus. Apparently, it was a new rule. Naturally, it led to much irritation from fans.

As for Ayesha Curry, this fan seems to be seriously worried and concerned about her welfare. “I hope Ayesha Curry and her kids are ok!!!”

And finally, this user was apologetic for the disappointing experience but was in awe of Draymond for stepping up. This is heartbreaking. I’m so sorry @ayeshacurry that you and your family went through this bad experience. S/O to @Money23Green for stepping up.”

What do you think of this whole tangled mess? Have any of you had such experiences in France? Let us know in the comments.
