Stephen Curry is known to be an avid golfer. When The Chef isn’t making highlights on the hardwood floor, you can expect him to be on the golf course. Curry even won the American Century Championship lately. Not only did he clinch the tournament with his sensational swing but he also got a par-4 during the competition as well. His court-to-course chronicle often amazes one and all. 

Recently, Andre Iguodala shared one such story about his former teammate Stephen Curry. And this story consists of his wonders both on the basketball floor as well as the golf course. So, what exactly did Steph do?

An old Stephen Curry story

NBA players have one of the most grueling professional seasons. Not only is the game quite tiring which tends to take a toll on the body, but also the 82-game-long NBA season goes a long way as well.

On top of that, the back-to-back games where players have to play a match and travel on the same day. This is what happened with the Golden State Warriors. According to Iguodala, the team played a match and had to travel to Phoenix the very same day.

Not only did the team reach Phoenix around 2 am, Curry and Iguodala left the hotel at 7 am in the morning to hit the golf course. Iguodala said, “Dude probably shot like one or two over like it was nothing. And I’m dead, I’m picking up half the holes.”

Iggy described how he knew he wouldn’t have a good game against the Phoenix Suns, but Curry had other plans. According to Iguodala, “Bro, Steph went for like 40. And every time he scored he would look at me and laugh. And he’s like, ‘If they only knew what we did today’.”

Andre Iguodala was amazed at how Stephen Curry could have such a great game despite the long flight, hitting the golf course, and playing a game just a day before.

During the interview on the Par 3 Podcast, Iguodala said, “There’s no way he’s supposed to have that type of game off a back-to-back and we just played golf. But there’s something wrong with that dude, it’s weird.”
