21-year-old Center Alperen Sengun is having a breakout season for the Houston Rockets. He has led the Rockets to an 8-6 start and kept them comfortably in the 7th spot of the Western Conference standings. While most people might think the Turkish player is slow because of his 6?11 frame, he can be deceptively quick with his moves when needed.
Los Angeles Clippers superstar Paul George revealed how Sengun?s ?embarrassing? move stunned him during his Rockets encounter.

Alperen Sengun was a guest on Podcast P with Paul George. While on the show, PG gave Sengun his flowers by admiring his quickness and IQ on the court. George talked about how Sengun?s shimmy move on the baseline stunned the Clippers guard and left him in the dust twice during the Rockets game. ?That sh*t was fast.? Paul George said. Sengun revealed that he knew PG would close him on the baseline, so he took advantage of that opportunity and went the other way to cross PG over. Paul George got crossed so hard the first time that he had no option but to foul the Rockets center. ?I got you,? Sengun said.

Paul George became the victim of Sengun?s move the second time in the same game. Even though PG was ready for the shimmy this time, Sengun?s quickness made him get past the 8-time All-Star again. Sengun further revealed that the move that helped him cross Paul George was his signature move when he played in Turkey.

Can the Houston Rockets stay above the LA Clippers?
Even though the LA Clippers have four future Hall of Famers on their roster, they have not been able to match their pre-season expectations. Paul George and Co. are currently 11th in the West with a 6-8 record. It has taken them some time to adjust to the addition of James Harden. Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have exceeded expectations with their amazing performance to start the season. They are sitting 4 spots above the mighty Clippers because of their young roster?s performance. The Clippers got the best of the Rockets the last time they met, with Paul George and Co. beating the Rockets 106-100.

But the Rockets? overall performance has been much better than the Clippers so far. Houston has several young and talented players, including Alperen Sengun, Jalen Green, and Dillon Brooks, and they have started to make some noise in the West. If they continue their incredible performance throughout the season, the Rockets might clinch a higher seed than the Clippers and stun the NBA world.
