Sydel Curry Lee wasn’t about to do a regular old gender reveal—nope, she took it to the next level! Alongside her husband, Damion Lee, and their son Daxon, Sydel made the reveal a family affair. Instead of just announcing the gender, the couple decided to play a fun game of tic-tac-toe on Instagram, flipping over flashcards showing blue and pink dresses to reveal whether they were expecting a baby boy or girl.
Talk about creativity!
Sydel dropped the adorable and ultra-creative video on her Instagram, where she confessed, not in so many words, that she was sure of the gender. Yet, the reveal was “the most shocking.”

“Honestly the most shocking game of tic-tac-toe! *emoji* I was convinced in my bonesss that this baby was the opposite of what it is, even bet on my own “mothers intuition” *emoji* and what another surprise we got! Already feeling complete with our next Baby Lee *emoji,*” she captioned the post.
The big reveal came when Daxon completed the grid, confirming the exciting news—it’s a boy!
So now, Sydel and Damion are gearing up to be parents to two boys and a girl. In the caption, she shared that with the arrival of their third child, her family finally felt complete. But here’s the twist—one of the WNBA stars noticed something hilarious about Daxon.
Cameron Brink commented, “Dax getting a little spooked is killingggg me 🤣❤️❤️”. It turns out that when Dax unveiled the last piece of the tic-tac-toe grid, Sydel and Damion were both excited and seemed to startle their son with their reaction. He ran away when his father was excitedly jumping, but returned quickly when he realized it was a happy moment.

Cameron Brink, the second overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, has already made a name for herself with the LA Sparks. But it looks like she’s not stopping there—she’s taking her presence beyond the hardwood with a new podcast. Brink has teamed up with Sydel Curry-Lee, sister of Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry, to launch Straight to Cam.
The podcast is already gaining attention, and Steph himself gave it a boost by promoting it on his Instagram stories. But here’s the twist: while Brink and Curry aren’t blood relatives, their families share a unique bond. Brink’s parents are actually Steph’s godparents, and vice versa. So, while they’re not biologically related, these two basketball stars are god-siblings, making their connection even more special.
In fact, when the Sparks drafted Brink second overall, Sonya Curry, Steph’s mom, was there to witness the moment. Afterward, Brink shouted out her “godmama” in an interview, highlighting that close relationship. Now, Brink and Curry-Lee are bringing that family connection to the podcast world. Every Tuesday, you can catch Straight to Cam on YouTube, where the two share their stories, experiences, and more.
