When justifying the existence of his surprising skill, Bronny believes adversity over the years from being the son of LeBron James established a certain degree of mental fortitude within him which made him tough. The USC prospect averaged 4.8 points during his crippled freshman season which ultimately affected his NBA expectations. Even then, he is battling several doubts placed on his game. Just like his father, Bronny James aims to bulldoze his way through criticism and fulfill his lifelong dream – to make it to the NBA.

Bronny James is not focused on playing with LeBron James

If need be, Bronny could easily have used the influence of LeBron James to earn a roster spot. While the four-time MVP can’t directly manipulate teams, he could leverage himself as part of drafting his elder son. It would help him live out his dream of playing with Bronny. However, the 19-year-old doesn’t enjoy earning a privileged spot.

The two-way guard and sharpshooter is carving his own path. The difficulties and hurdles to endure are his own battle. Bronny is motivated by his personal ambitions. Those aren’t sharing the floor with his father. He simply envisions playing in the NBA and competing in the most successful and biggest basketball league on the planet.

His humility has been a standout among his traits. But are an impressive combine performance and grounded aspirations sufficient for a team to draft him?
