The Phoenix Suns are not having the best time in the league right now. Since their first win of the season opener against the Golden State Warriors, they have just two more wins. After three consecutive losses last week against the Spurs and the 76ers, they were able to redeem themselves a little with the 120-106 win against the Detroit Pistons.?

The Suns have done all this without their star players, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal in the line-up. Devin last played against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, having missed all the games since the opener due to an ankle sprain. Beal, on the other hand, has yet to play a game due to his back spasms. With the game against the Chicago Bulls tonight, we have information on Devin?s availability for it.?

Duane Rankin, from the azcentral spoke to Phoenix head coach Frank Vogel who shared the status of the shooting guard. He confirmed his absence from the game due to his strained right calf that he sustained when he played 35 minutes in a loss to the Spurs.

Vogel admitted that this was a marathon and not a sprint. Hence, it is important that they pay close attention to the players? health now, in order to have them around later in the season. The coach further said, ?He?s got a good feel. He wants to be in there, but he can tell when something is not quite right.? He added that Devin is not going to do something to ?compromise some bigger chunk of games to be able to play in one?.?

Speaking about his injured teammates, Durant said, ?I know how much these dudes love to play. They hate just being on the sidelines. We don’t want them to rush. We don’t want them to feel like it’s pressure to come back because we lose a couple of games.? He also shared the same sentiment as the coach, where he said he wanted them to be 100 percent healthy for the rest of the season. Hope that things get better for the Suns and a healthy line-up is back on the court.?
