The Phoenix Suns created one of the most lethal offensive trios in NBA history this summer. The Suns added 3-time All-Star Bradley Beal to their already stacked roster, which had Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. All three superstars have been the leading scorer for their respective teams at some point in their careers. Although the Bradley Beal move has made the Phoenix Suns one of the favorites to win the title this year, there are a few problems that need to be addressed by the Suns’ coaching staff.

Beal, KD, and Booker are all ball-dominant players, and many analysts believe Bradley Beal will have a diminished role playing alongside two elite superstars like Durant and Booker. Suns’ new Head Coach, Frank Vogel, addressed the concern and revealed the former Washington Wizard star’s role in his new team.

Phoenix Suns Head Coach Frank Vogel was asked if Bradley Beal will be the one who will have to make the biggest adjustment this season. Considering Beal was the primary scorer in Washington, analysts believed he would have to adjust to playing alongside two ball-dominant players like Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. But Vogel’s revelation told a totally different story, “Nope! Not at all. All of those guys are gonna fit in and be themselves. We’re not asking one of them to sacrifice.” Suns Head Coach claims Bradley Beal’s role in Phoenix will not be diminished, and all of their three superstars will play to their strengths.

However, this will be easier said than done. It will be tough for Frank Vogel to decide which superstar gets the ball in the final minutes of a close game or who will take the game-winning shot. Managing three ball-dominant players who have been superstars throughout their careers is not an easy task. All of them will have to make some sacrifices throughout the season if they want to win together.

Frank Vogel’s problem is a good one to have

Even though it is a tough task, managing the Suns Big 3 is a good problem to have for Frank Vogel. He took the Head Coaching job this summer, signing a 5-year $31 million contract with the Suns. Vogel is experienced in handling multiple superstars in one team as he coached LeBron James and Anthony Davis in LA and led them to a Championship in 2020.

Vogel will have to come up with a way to maximize the potential of the new Big 3 in Phoenix. Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal all have the potential to singlehandedly take over a game. Now, all Frank Vogel has to do is make them work together and bring a Championship to Phoenix.
