Suited in Balenciaga, Savannah James’ Honors 28YO Musical Sensation at Billboard Women’s Awards

It was a star-studded night at the Billboard Women in Music 2024. Savannah James, rocking a black Balenciaga suit, presented the Billboard Women’s Breakthrough Award to rising musical icon Tems, the 28-year-old Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer.

The L-Train’s better half, Savannah James began her speech by highlighting the confidence instilled in her by her mother, which she felt resonated throughout the room filled with inspiring women like Tems, the 2024 honoree.

“Beyond the awards and collaborations,” James continued, “it all comes back to that voice: rich, resonant, undeniable. Pair that with her effortless confidence, style and flow and you’ve got someone who’s gonna be here for a really long time.
