Who needs to make the playoffs more? Should it be LeBron James or Stephen Curry? This was the topic of discussion for the hosts of First Things First. And Chris Broussard has a decided opinion. He is adamant about his pick and he provides the reasons for the same.

The FS1 sports analyst opined that “LeBron is still building a case for the GOAT.” Simply because there were certain expectations attached to James when he came into the league. Although he has met them or even overachieved them, he continues to make waves in the GOAT conversations.

Joining the First Take, JJ Reddick had given his honest opinion of Steph and James’ championship chances this season. Even while everybody out there is clamoring for a title from the Lakers or Warriors, it would be a lie to say that they do not worry about the reality of that happening. Reddick does not beat around the bush when he said, “I don’t think it’s likely that either gets a fifth title unless they’re willing to go somewhere else.”

He further explains that he really doesn’t see LA or GSW being able to make a move that can work out in the favor of the franchise. These two legends are playing at a high. Without someone who can give them similar support for the number of years they intend to play in the foreseeable future, the practical application of the whole situation looks unreal.

Some of the top players, like Giannis Antetokounmpo or Joel Embiid, are unlikely to leave their respective teams. And even though there is the rumor of Donovan Mitchell leaving Cleveland, there are many teams out there that can offer so much more for the ‘Spida’.
