The fact that LeBron James remains more athletic than many NBA players is absurd. He will be 39 in December and is the oldest active player. Yet, he refuses to bring down the level of his game. It is like the Forward is the same player that he was during his early Cavaliers days. His herculean work ethic coupled with rare genetic gifts allows him to be a model NBA athlete. He is the barometer through which the upcoming greats will be measured. The All-Time leading scorer has now added another memorable feather to his claim as one of the best.

This incredible play sums up the influence of LBJ. He continues to hustle like he is an enthusiastic young athlete. His desire to win is too big and too overwhelming to comprehend. The Lakers come in with high expectations
So far the Lakers have been a mixed bag. But it is just another season where they have started slow. The 100-95 win against the Suns was huge because Anthony Davis took control with a 30-point two-way domination. With LBJ on a minutes restriction, his role is huge and expectations are always lofty. The Lakeshow would want him to be so assertive that the Lakers end up on a high seed and then deploy James in full flow during the Postseason.
At any rate, King James remains one of the unique sporting stars. His will to dominate is same as ever. With four rings under his bag, he is far from done. But for his dreams to come true, Davis and co. will have to lift a lot of load.
