The Golden State Warriors had a disappointing season last year. After being unable to defend the title, they started this year hoping to win it again. But to the dismay of Head Coach Steve Kerr, things went off to a poor start. The Phoenix Suns destroyed them in a 108-104 loss.?
In the second game, however, it seems like they have found their rhythm. In their first away game of the season, the Warriors recorded a 122-114 victory over the Sacramento Kings. And according to the head coach, some of the important moves they made in the off-season are bringing the results they had hoped for.?
Steve Kerr reveals the magic combo

Going into the season, one of the Warriors? biggest worries revolved around Stephen Curry. It has been seen previously that the team struggles in the absence of The Golden Boy. But now, HC Steve Kerr shares that they?ve finally found the answer to the problem.?
In the post-game press conference, Kerr explained, ?I like the combination of what we have with those guys. When Chris and Dario are together with Moses and JK, it’s a good mix, you know.? He also added that with them present, they can cover all grounds from shooting to playmaking and floor spacing.?
Further, he shared, ?Chris and Dario have been through this stuff an awful lot. So they kinda settled down the game a lot.? Now that the team has figured out what will bring them those wins, it looks like the dreams of winning back that championship are more real than ever.?

Stephen Curry led the scoreboard with 41 points going 7-for-10. He finished with four rebounds, four assists, and two steals while shooting 73.7% from the field. The two-time MVP really gave his all for this victory. While their previous season was filled with road woes, with this win, they’re setting themselves up for a confident start.

It was not a one-man show, though. Everyone contributed to it. Chris Paul was a fantastic offensive composer and finished with 10 points, 12 assists, and 3 steals. Rookie Jonathan Kuminga also impressed everyone with his 12 points and 5 rebounds. Moses Moody put in 10 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and an assist.

Overall, the collected efforts of all ensured that the Warriors maintained a lead for the most part of the game. They will look to pull back-to-back wins as they face the Houston Rockets on Sunday at 4:00 PM Pacific. Watch this space for more updates.
