The Golden State Warriors had a disappointing season last year. Coming off a championship season in 2022, many expected them to win back-to-back titles the following season. But Stephen Curry and Co. finished 6th in the West and were knocked out by rival LeBron James in the second round of the playoffs. One major reason for the Warriors? failure was their fractured chemistry.

Veteran Center Draymond Green even threw shade on former teammate Jordan Poole for the team?s bad chemistry last season. But head coach Steve Kerr recently refuted Green?s comments and defended Jordan Poole.

Draymond Green recently blamed Jordan Poole for the team?s abysmal chemistry and failure last season. ?Last year was horses**t. It was hard to come to work.? Green said in an interview. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr addressed Draymond?s comments and claimed that it was unfair to blame Poole for last year?s struggles, ?First of all, I think it?s unfair for people to just point at Jordan. That?s wrong… Jordan was fantastic while he was here. I hate that he gets any criticism. Last year went wrong for a number of reasons and we all share the blame in that.?

?For Draymond, last year was a tough year in a lot of ways, but he?ll be the first to admit that he created some of that himself.? Kerr added. Warriors? team chemistry took a major hit after a video of Draymond punching Jordan Poole during practice surfaced last year. That put the Warriors under the spotlight, and they could never recover from that incident. Statistically, Poole had a decent season last year, averaging 20.4 points and 4.5 assists. He was supposed to be the future of the Warriors franchise. Instead, Poole got traded to the Washington Wizards after the end of last season.

Can the Warriors bounce back this year?

Now that Jordan Poole is no longer a part of the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green will have no one to blame if they fail again this season. The Warriors have added veteran guard Chris Paul to their roster, and they are one of the strongest teams on paper. Stephen Curry and Co. are off to a great start so far. They have won four of their first five games and would love to extend their winning record further.
