The NBA offseason is at its peak. This off-season window can pave the way for some fun. However, training camps will roll in about a month and a half from now on. As these camps come to fruition, many players are getting game-ready. The fun can continue for some, but there are athletes who have a lot to prove next season. This time provides a great opportunity for these athletes to work on their game and mold their bodies as per the NBA.

During one of these preparatory sessions, Stephen Curry‘s teammate made his intentions clear early.

The CrawsOver Pro-Am league which is presented by former NBA scoring phenom Jamal Crawford is based in Seattle. The games are played at the Seattle Pacific University. This event features a long of list, former, current, and future pro ballers. Or those who have had pro-ball aspirations. Last year, the event featured Jayson Tatum and LeBron James.

Therefore, the assortment of talent joins different generations and different varieties of hoopers. A long list of legendary coaches, those who have had a deep impact on the grassroots program that shaped the Hoopers, joins them.

For many NBA players, this is a great opportunity to practice and interact with different game styles. However, they dominate the competition because of the differences in the talent level.

One such instance occurred when Stephen Curry’s teammate and Warriors Forward Jonathan Kuminga made his CrawsOver Pro-Am debut.

He showcased terrific between-the-legs dribble moves and hesitations. These guard-like moves accompanied by terrific baseline cuts that led to some spicy lobs, made this a memorable outing.

He got substantial support from his teammates who made the right passes and set terrific screens.

One play that brought a huge rouse out of the crowd was an alley-oop made by Kuminga. However, it was the action before the alley-oop that brought incredible reactions.

A dime and jam that brought the house down

The 6’7” Forward poked the ball loose while defending his perimeter. His teammate collected the ball and then brought out a sleek move. He jumped and then made a between-the-leg dribble motion in mid-air. He threw an off-the-ball lob pass to Kuminga, who slammed it hard with his right hand.

The Forward ended up with 60 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Although he averaged just around 10 points per game, he will enter his third year.

The Warriors trust in him, considering they extended his rookie-year contract. His potential is high and he can see an increase in minutes. However, NBA defenses won’t allow him to drop 60 like this.
