Bacon, eggs, and toast! That’s what Sydel Curry loves to eat. Entering 2024, she has a New Year’s resolution, which is to cook more. Who else could be a better help than Stephen Curry‘s wife, Ayesha Curry? Sydel’s go-to reference for healthy cooking is Ayesha’s famous New York Times bestseller cookbook ‘Full Plate.’ It has 100 different recipes that can be prepared under an hour!
Stephen Curry’s little sister, Sydel Curry, recently uploaded a story to her Instagram handle where she said, “Meal planning for the week. So I had to pull out the good old faithful, The Full Plate… 2024 I am getting back to cooking. I am gonna start cooking more, cooking healthier for my family.”

Apart from ‘Full Plate’, Ayesha Curry has also authored bestselling cookbooks like ‘The Seasoned Life’ and ‘Homemade Simple’. The chef/author has featured in shows such as ‘About Last Night’ and ‘Family Food Fight’. Looks like Stephen’s little sister will not make full use of her sister-in-law’s cooking expertise to full use now.
Sydel Curry Lee has been an on-and-off YouTuber since 2017. Her most consistent era was around 2019 and 2020. Referring to this, the former volleyball player shared on her Instagram story earlier that she will be going back to her roots and becoming more consistent with her content creation.
She added that rather than trying to keep up with the trends, she will be posting content that works for her. Sydel shared, “There’s so much pressure to keep up with the trends and stay relevant with what’s new. Buttttt trying to find that has limited me more than helped me. So I’m keeping it simple. Doing what I know and what I do best.”
From Q&A to peeks into her everyday life as a mom and wife, Sydel has shared such videos in the past, some featured her husband Damion Lee too. We can expect such content from her in the coming year as well. However, the women in the Curry family are surely looking to turn heads with their ventures.
Sydel and Ayesha Curry want to set new standards for women
Dabbling in entrepreneurship along with Ayesha Curry, they launched a winery called ‘Domaine Curry’ in 2018. Sydel and her sister-in-law believe that the products should “reflect shared values of inclusivity, quality, and innovation.” The celebrity sisters-in-law and business partner duo, Ayesha Curry and Sydel Curry-Lee, also realized that women, specifically women of color, are the strongest demographic of wine buyers. They were impressed by the women they were surrounded by who inspired them each day. To pay homage to these women and to empower future generations, they dedicated ‘Domaine Curry.’

In an interview with Essence, Sydel said, “The truth of the matter is that the wine industry is predominantly white male-driven. It was pretty daunting going in. But we quickly realized we’re smart, we’re strong, we’ve got it, we know what we like, we know what tastes great, we know what works. And I think when you push through that and drown out the noise, the rest is history.”
At the same time, Ayesha Curry and Sydel Curry-Lee wanted to create their own legacy in the Curry family while becoming an inspiration for other women to get involved in business. They said “We worked on this for a very long time — this is really an ode to the powerful women in our lives. We also wanted to do this because our family is well-known for the men, we aimed to have something that was a legacy-maker for the women that we could pass down to our daughters, our nieces.”
In June 2023, Domaine Curry was sold to Prisoner Wine Co. But the celebrity sisters-in-law and business partner duo, Ayesha Curry and Sydel Curry-Lee’s wine brand was recently acquired by Constellations Brands in December. So, they both decided to celebrate the reintroduction of Domaine Curry.
