He revealed that as the only black kid in his class, he had once pronounced the word ‘conscience’ as ‘con-science’. He commented on the video and wrote, “Conscience. Con. Science. As the only black kid in Class!!!!”
This candid admission quickly went viral, garnering over 800,000 likes and reminding us all that even NBA champions have had their share of awkward moments.
Curry and Iguodala share much more than just championships
Both of them share much more than just championships. They share a history of camaraderie. They’ve formed a strong bond both on and off the court. Both have won four championships together, and it’s all marked by humorous and sometimes embarrassing moments.
One such moment occurred when Iguodala drained a three-pointer on Curry during a game, leaving Curry in disbelief, as if he was almost embarrassed. Another time, Iguodala jokingly suggested that he should take the last shot in a game over Curry, leading to a spirited debate for a few days.
Off the court too, the duo has frequently engaged in friendly banter. Iguodala once teased Curry about his fashion choices during an interview. They’ve also faced off in a ‘compliment battle’, where they tried to outdo each other with straight-faced sharp and witty responses back and forth.
