Stephen Curry?s Ex-teammate Takes Kyrie Irving?s Path Towards $30.2 Billion Company, Days After Reuniting With Jalen Brunson and His Villanova Boys

It is every basketball player?s dream to play in the NBA one day. But there is one more dream that players envision apart from becoming an NBA player. It is to have their own signature shoes and a lucrative sneaker deal. Former NBA Champion Kyrie Irving has pioneered the sneaker game with his iconic shoe line with Nike. But after his fallout with the Swoosh brand, Uncle Drew decided to go a different route and signed with the $30.2 billion company ANTA this summer.

Stephen Curry?s Ex-teammate has also followed in Kyrie?s footsteps by signing with the Chinese brand. This achievement comes days after the player reunited with his Villanova Boys, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.

A great year for Stephen Curry?s Ex-teammate

Stephen Curry?s former Warriors teammate Donte DiVincenzo parted ways with the 4-time Champion in July by signing a massive 4-year $50 million deal with the New York Knicks. DiVincenzo?s move to New York meant he would reunite with his former Villanova teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart. The 26-year-old guard seems to be having a great year as days after bagging $50 million, he ticked off another achievement from his bucket list.

Donte DiVincenzo signed a shoe deal with Chinese Company ANTA, following Kyrie Irving?s path. The Knicks guard will headline ANTA?s upcoming ZAP 1 sneaker in his own PE editions. That is a great achievement for the 26-year-old guard. DiVincenzo will join NBA superstars Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, and more in the vast umbrella of the ANTA family.

Can Donte DiVincenzo carry this momentum to the regular season?

Donte DiVincenzo has proven that he can be a key contributor to a Championship team. He helped Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. win the NBA Championship in 2021. Donte became a solid role player for the Warriors last season, averaging 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. Reuniting with his Villanova teammates in New York, DiVincenzo will look to elevate his performance with the Knicks.

DiVincenzo will get more playing time in New York as they are a relatively younger team than the Warriors and the Bucks. Donte already has great chemistry with Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart from his Villanova days and will not need much time to adjust to the new environment. Jalen Brunson came out as a star for the New York Knicks last year, leading them to their first playoff series win since 2013. Brunson averaged 24 points last season, and the NBA world felt he should have made the All-Star team.
