Fans took to Reddit to express their disappointment with Kerr’s coaching decisions during the tournament. One fan commented, “Never want to see Kerr coach another non-Curry team again”. The comment highlights dissatisfaction with Kerr’s coaching style outside of his comfort zone with Steph and the Warriors.

Another fan criticized Kerr’s decision to play Anthony Edwards at center during overtime. The fan stated, “At one point in OT Kerr played Ant at the 5 lmao like what the hell…We get you like smallball Kerr but cmon man.” They also questioned why Team USA was switching on defense when not all players were good defenders. One fan expressed his disappointment by saying. “This is all part of the Netflix contract to create another documentary, Redeem Team Two: Electric Boogaloo”. While others called for LeBron James to be brought back into the team, stating, “Call LeBron ffs. This is getting embarrassing.”
