Five games. Five losses. The Golden State Warriors are caught in a spiral, and Dub Nation isn’t enjoying it. Fans want Steve Kerr out, and the heat is rising. Even the ever-smiling Stephen Curry looks like he’s biting his tongue. Who knew this season’s plot twist would be a comedy of errors?
There are some major problems that the Warriors need to fix before it’s too late. For example, finding help for Steph. Well, how is a dynasty team solely dependent on one player? It’s not like the 36-year-old point guard cannot pull his team through the finishing line. But, it shows that the team cannot rely on any other player. Moreover, the coach’s reliance or as you may say obsession with underperforming players is posing a threat.
The Warriors had their chance to win against the Denver Nuggets in Tuesday’s NBA Cup game in Ball Arena. However, Stephen Curry’s 24-point effort fell short before Nikola Jokic’s 38-point masterplay. Curry wasn’t happy with his team’s game. Following the 115-119 loss, he said: “I’m not gonna try to find positives. I think it’s just a matter, we’re all playing well.” But, there aren’t any results of the ‘playing well’!

He continued: “I mean hard and we’re all committed to trying to get out of this hole and everybody who steps out on the floor has been committed to that. We have a lot of great guys in the locker room here, we have a lot of positive vibes but nobody wants to sit and find positives in a losing streak.”
“It’s kind of just find a way to claw your way out and I think we’ve shown it for 44 minutes. What happens on the floor and the commitment to how we’re trying to do it, it’s something to take from that but we gotta win.” It’s safe to say, the game was in no way one-sided for both teams. Thus, giving the crowd something to look ahead in every moment.
However, as Stephen Curry claimed, the Dubs did put some pressure for 44 minutes in Ball Arena. Because, despite having a 10-point lead in the 4th quarter with seven minutes in regulation, the Warriors began to fall apart. Stuck at 115, Steph & Co. watched Michael Porter Jr. change the momentum for the Nuggets. What could the Warriors do? Nothing.
So, winning more games is the only priority for the Dubs now. Meanwhile, Brandin Podziemski has given a glimpse into the Warriors’ locker room. And after 5 consecutive losses, what is the air like in the Bay Area’s inner circle?

So, when Stephen Curry said: “We have a lot of great guys in the locker room here,” he was simply backing Brandin Podziemski‘s claims. Although a harsh reality check followed before and after this, the Baby-Faced Assassin can’t deny that his locker room has a positive energy. So, what did Podz say?
“It’s a great vibe right now, everybody’s staying together, everybody loves each other. Our chemistry is great, definitely 10 times better than last year. We’re all pulling for each other.” Well, it’s tricky to understand why the Warriors’ locker room last season was 10x worse than this season. On the other hand, it’s good to know that the players are backing each other in such a perilous time of downfall.
The 21YO point guard added: “Everybody’s had each other’s back. And so as a player, what that does for you is just let you remain confident and bring what you bring to the table every night. And everybody’s just kind of there for one another, which is something you need during a losing streak.”

The Warriors’ season is turning into a rollercoaster, with five losses and no easy answers. Despite Curry’s stellar efforts, the team struggles with underperforming players and a coach who stubbornly obsesses over them. But there’s hope – Brandin Podziemski’s positive locker room vibes and Curry’s leadership keep spirits high. The chemistry might be better than last year, but can they turn it around before it’s too late? With each loss, the Dubs’ fight is more about clawing out of the hole than finding any silver linings. One thing’s for sure: the Warriors’ next move will be crucial.
