Stephen Curry on Cloud 9 After Overcoming Last Season?s Struggles in Very First Attempt vs Kings

Tonight was the second game for the Golden State Warriors, set against the Sacramento Kings. Although D?Aaron Fox registered a whopping score of 39 points, somehow the Warriors managed to steal the game by the end of the fourth quarter. With the final score of 122-114, the Kings were trailing behind, with Stephen Curry scoring a tally of 41 mega points.

However, Chef did admit that Sacramento was not an easy team to beat. Well, Kings fans are definitely feeling an aversion to the fantastic point guard who can still deliver 41 points at 35 years of age.

In a post-game interview, Steph was quite candid about accepting that the Sacramento Kings are a tough team.

He said, ?I won?t call it a rivalry, but it?s a great familiarity of knowing a team. How many times have we played him over the years?preseason, four times regular season, and obviously seven games in the playoffs last year? We already played them three times this year, so you get to know they are a tough team.”

Well, no doubt this was a sigh of relief for the Warriors since the last loss against the Phoenix Suns in the season opener. Stephen Curry also made an astonishing revelation, disclosing that it took the Warriors 14 road games to start the season.

He said, ?It took us like 14 games or something like that to win a road game to start the season.”

No doubt it was a horrible set of road games for the franchise last year. The team dropped their first road game by 29 points and also suffered a loss-ridden five-game road trip soon after. With the loss of the first eight road games, the Golden State Warriors finished 11?30 overall.

What’s worth noting is that only three teams displayed a worse performance than the Warriors. With Draymond Green not on the team, it’s going to be a test of time for the players. However, the team outshined the opponents tonight.
