We have impersonators for almost every celebrity on the earth. Sometimes, these impersonators go a step beyond and even outshine the celebrities themselves. This is what happened to the Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, and he didn’t fail to acknowledge it. Coming off the historic performance against the Sixers, the 36-year-old seemed to be in a good mood. Impressed with the impersonation, the Baby-faced Assassin complimented the unreal talent.

Curry has always been a fan favorite. Of course, without a doubt, the legendary point guard will have a massive fan following for his talent and the accolades that he has accumulated over the years. However, there’s another reason behind the surging fan base.

It’s the superstar’s humble down-to-earth attitude toward his fans. We can even find Steph interacting with courtside fans without the slightest hint of stardom.

In the same vein, Stephen Curry reacted to a fan-cum-social media influencer’s hilarious video. Jaxson Simon, an Instagrame user, who makes basketball content, recently dropped an intriguing reel compiling impersonations of Steph’s famous on-court moments. The video had plenty of standout details that impressed thousands of his followers including the man himself. Simon, biting mouth guard, dropped 5 buckets in a row while he removed Curry’s 5 different jerseys after each bucket.

Importantly, Simon pulled out the famous shimmy shake, Steph’s look-away three-pointer, and followed it up with a “That went in, right? That went in right?” impression. That’s it. It was enough to catch the superstar’s attention. Curry reacting to the video, took to the comments and wrote, “How you move like me but better than me though,” with a laughing emoji. What more do you want than a compliment from the 4x NBA Champ? Moreover, it’s a wholesome gift for the superstar as well after he went off 8-8 FG from the deep against the Sixers.

Stephen Curry and fans: a kind bond beyond words

We don’t usually find Stephen Curry interacting with fans online unlike Kevin Durant. The Slim Reaper shows no mercy to the online fans. It’s either love or all the way down south. However, in the Dubs superstar’s case, it’s only love. The superstar recently left a young fan flabbergasted with his kind gesture.

What’s your perspective on:

Does Stephen Curry's humility make him the most beloved NBA player of our generation?

Have an interesting take?

During the Warriors’ regular season clash against the Hawks, Steph took the court to perform his usual pre-game ritual. At that time, he passed a young fan standing in the courtside with a photocard and marker. The fan immediately asked the superstar if he could sign his card and the superstar humbly agreed to it and created a lifetime moment for the fan.

This is just a small instance of the plenty of fan encounters that Steph has faced throughout his career. Last year, while traveling with Team USA for an exhibition match in London, the superstar walked straight into a store and casually interacted with a fan who was checking Curry’s jersey. He asked the young fan, if she liked the jersey, playfully. With his career almost coming to the last stretch, we can find his fanbase growing multifold with each passing day. It’s an ode to his humble attitude.
