Stephen Curry's success making Sydel envious—Is sibling rivalry a good motivator or just plain unfair?

Siblings never grow tired of teasing each other in their unique ways. The Currys are no different in that regard. With Sydel Curry’s recent Instagram activity, one thing is clear: their popularity hasn’t altered their sibling dynamics. They still behave like any typical sibling and feel a pinch of playful jealousy when the other is acknowledged for something they both have done. A similar scenario occurred with Stephen Curry‘s sister when the Warriors star made his debut on a new social media platform.

Many of you might have noticed that Steph Curry has added linktr.ee to his IG bio. It garnered attention from his sister. Like other followers of Curry on the $1.3 billion platform, Sydel was notified about her brother’s new activity. The YouTuber quickly shared it on her IG story to promote Steph’s account, but her playful caption revealed a hint of envy.

Sharing the picture that stated, “Stephen Curry does it best. Every time,” Sydel wrote, “Not to be like that little sister but I DEF was on @linktr.ee before this guy… so uh… yeah lol thanks for the email though 😅 *cough* link in bio *cough*.” We get your emotion, Sydel.

Stephen Curry has ticked one more wish from his bucket list after establishing his first store internationally. Since 2020, the Golden State Warriors hero has been taking baby steps with the Curry Brand. Earlier this month, with Under Armour beside him, he entered the Chinese market to make it big with his brand. The store will be available in the newly opened luxurious The Ring Chengdu complex.

To represent the Curry Brand, Sacramento Kings star De’Aaron Fox joined the 4x champion on the China tour. But the plan doesn’t end here. According to Yahoo Finance, Under Armour’s managing director, Jason Archer revealed, “There is a second store opening in Xian during the tour as well.” Moreover, the store will be located next to an Under Armour store specially to show their association.

Have an interesting take?

Looking at the marketing strategies, one can easily notice the amount of work Curry is putting into flourishing in the business field. Once his tour gets over, Stephen Curry will be suiting up for the Dubs and taking up even greater responsibilities now that his decade-old teammate has chosen a different path. Like last season, the franchise is already under scrutiny for their weak roster. At a time like this, they would certainly want Curry’s stars to shine in the Bay Area again.
