An audio leak from Saturday night’s game revealed the story behind Stephen Curry’s rather rare aggression. Last night, the Golden State Warriors and LA Lakers put up a great show for the NBA world. The Baby-faced Assassin had all the eyes on him as he returned to the court after missing three consecutive games. The superstar, however, made it worth their time with a display of rare aggression in the third quarter.

After a slow start in the first half, Steph got his touch back in the second half. In the third quarter, he created a four-point play by sinking a tough-contested three-pointer. Following the bucket, the superstar ran toward the Lakers’ bench and showed his rare emotion, trash-talking. While many scratched their heads to find the reason behind the trash-talk, a leaked audio cleared all the doubts. Curry screamed, “Get your b*t** a** on the court,” after an intense encounter in the previous play.

In a play, before he trash-talked at the Lakers’ bench, Stephen Curry had an intense one-on-one, defending LeBron James. At the time, D’Angelo Russell hyped up his teammate by screaming, “Go at his a**,” multiple times from the bench. Steph eventually won the battle as they forced a turnover when the Dubs’ Gary Payton blocked a shot from the arc.

Keeping D’Lo’s trash talk in mind, Steph came back at him after making a four-point play. Moreover, the tussle didn’t stop right there. Russell went after Klay Thompson, who was taking a shot at the timeout. Even a ref came in between to stop the Lakers’ guard.

However, it was Steph who again stepped right back in to stand up for his Splash brother, by asking D’Lo, “Who are you talking to? ” While the Lakers and Warriors had their last regular season match-up yesterday, when will they meet again?

When will Stephen Curry and D’Angelo Russell face again?

They have a high chance of meeting again in the post-season as they belong to the same conference. The Lakers and Dubs have been fighting for the 9th seed for quite some time now. Currently, the Dubs have it after last night’s win. If this competition continues, both teams will have a do-or-die match in the Play-in Tournament to keep their championship hopes alive.

The Dubs superstar who has returned from the injury will look to make the maximum in the last stretch to climb up the West ladder and evade the Play-in Tournament. Nevertheless, it will all be determined in a few days.
