The Boston Celtics are gearing up to host the Golden State Warriors tonight at TD Garden. Golden State Warriors are gearing up for a marquee matchup against their 2022 Finals foes, Boston Celtics. Both the teams enter the match in red-hot form as the Warriors have won their last 3 matches. Whereas, Celtics enter the match on a 10-match winning streak. But all eyes are on Stephen Curry, as he has unexpectedly been added to the injury report, owing to his knee bursitis. His appearance on the report is raising quite a few eyebrows, considering he played 30 minutes in his previous game against the Raptors. He has missed no games since January 13.

Curry’s stellar performances have been key for the Warriors this season. He averages 27.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game, having appeared in 56 games. His last appearance on the injury list was back in November before the Warriors’ game against the Milwaukee Bucks, where he was rested because of workload management. The nature of Curry’s Knee Bursitis injury remains unclear, but speculations suggest that it could be because of his workload as he hasn’t rested since mid-January. Despite all of this, the fact that Curry is listed as probable for the game against the Celtics provides a sigh of relief to Warriors fans.
