As the NBA All-Star Weekend inches closer, the league has finally announced the much-anticipated rosters and coaches for the fan-favorite All-Star Celebrity Game. It is scheduled to be held at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on 16th February. Mark the date and get ready for this exciting game which will be streamed exclusively on ESPN and the ESPN app. It will feature some superstars from an array of industries like sports, music, film, and more!

The highlight of this match-up will be the two coaches who will oversee the teams. On one side we have NBA analyst and First Take host Stephen A. Smith, who will be going up against the team headed by co-host Shannon Sharpe. Stephen A. will be assisted by WNBA star A’ja Wilson and Platinum rapper Lil Wayne as his other coaches. Meanwhile, Shannon will have former NFL quarterback superstar Peyton Manning, and Grammy-winning rapper 50 Cent on his coaching team.

On team Shannon, we have NFL’s Micah Parsons, actor Quincy Isaiah, NASCAR racer Conor Daly, WNBA star Jewel Loyd, streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat, Chinese actor Dylan Wang, comedian Lilly Singh, Puerto Rican rapper and singer Anuel AA, Grammy-nominated artist SiR, and Walker Hayes.

Team Stephen A. will feature America’s favorite artist Jennifer Hudson, YouTuber Tristan Jass, basketball entertainer Jack Ryan, NBA Champion Metta World Peace, singer and Backstreet Boy AJ McLean, well-known chef Kwame Onwuachi, WNBA’s Natasha Cloud, Grammy-nominated musician Adam Blackstone, NFL’s CJ Stroud, and Olympic High Jump Champion Gianmarco Tamberi.

Looking back on the 2023 All-NBA Celebrity Game

Last year, the celebrity teams were headed by the Utah Jazz Governor Ryan Smith (along with former WNBA star Lisa Leslie, rapper Fat Joe, and MLB’s Alex Bregman) on one side, and NBA legend Dwayne Wade (assisted by Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brothers Thanasis and Alex, Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn) on the other.

Team Dwayne won the game 78-81, which was held at the Jon M. Huntsman Center on 17th February. The MVP of the match went to DK Metcalf, star wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL. He chipped in an impressive 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks. This year’s lineups are also packed with a wide range of talents. Who could potentially be 2024’s MVP?
