LeBron James hinted at a possible retirement after the playoff defeat in the last season. He still outperformed as an elite basketball player averaging 28.9 points per game. However, in late February he had a major injury, making his third such consecutive injury in the last three seasons. One of his off-season priorities was to get his knee fixed. He was mostly away from the press conference in his off-season. Bronny James’s cardiac arrest in July shocked the entire basketball community. LeBron’s own injuries, coupled with his son’s health issues, were distressing for the family.

Bronny is in stable condition and LeBron shared a positive update about Bronny’s health and basketball career. However, as he is entering his 21st season, LeBron also hinted at a rehab for himself.

The Lakers are running for a championship, and LeBron is the torchbearer. After missing out on many games, the Lakers plan to be careful with LeBron’s playing time, setting his calendar around important matches. While LeBron didn’t reveal if he had surgery in this off-season, he did mention that he had been taking rehab and his foot was all right. On the media trial day, LeBron said, “This summer has been a lot about rehabbing that and getting that back to where it needs to be,”. 

“But my foot has been reacting very well on my offseason workouts. Looking forward to seeing how it reacts during training camp and all preseason going into the regular season. Excited to see where I am as it stands today.” He continued. 

The Lakers’ coach has assured fans that “everything is going according to plan” with LeBron’s injury recoveries.

Bronny James is taking rehab and will be back on court

After Bronny James joined the elite USC basketball program, he suffered a cardiac arrest during a practice session which put everything at a halt. He was later diagnosed as having a congenital heart defect. He had a successful surgery, and that initiated his recovery process.

LeBron James recently provided an update on his son’s condition, stating that Bronny is “doing extremely well” and has begun his rehab process. The goal is for Bronny to return to the court this season. This news has brought a sigh of relief to fans who have been eagerly awaiting updates on Bronny’s health and future in basketball.
