The Warriors are in a tough spot right now, stuck in a four-game losing streak with the Denver Nuggets looming next on their schedule. To make matters worse, Stephen Curry has been dealing with knee tendinitis, which is a new hurdle for him. Earlier this season, he sat out three games with an ankle injury, and while knee bursitis popped up on the injury report, it didn’t actually sideline him. A new clip from their latest defeat has some GSW fans concerned.
As a Warriors fan, you can’t help but hope the team can rally, especially with Curry’s ability to push through and deliver when it matters most. But let’s be real. This stretch feels like the team’s met their version of the “uphill both ways” grind.
Curry dropped 23 points in 32 minutes on Saturday night, but the Warriors couldn’t break their losing streak, falling 113-105 to the Phoenix Suns at Footprint Center. At 36, Curry works closely with Rick Celebrini, the Warriors’ VP of player health and performance, to manage his condition and prevent it from worsening.

After the game, Curry admitted, “Honestly, I was happy to get through this one playing 30 and not feeling it go the other way.” A video, however, shows the 2x MVP awkwardly walking while the team continued to struggle on the court.

While it didn’t look like an injury, fans are concerned for their star’s well-being.
‘Bad knees’ makes fans question Stephen Curry’s fitness
“Something is wrong with stephen curry, he’s not him,” said one user. Steph trying to support himself on one leg makes it seem like he cannot put all his weight on one leg. He’s the greatest three-point shooter ever, performing at the top level for years but this video makes it seem he’s not the player he once was.
Another user reacting to the video wrote, “his teams trash, his knees hurt, and his coach won’t let him play minutes.” The second unit isn’t stepping up to support Curry, and Steve Kerr’s 12-man rotation limits him to under 30 minutes per game. Kerr keeps the young players off the court even when the team needs them most. Last game, Moses Moody got 3 minutes, whereas Pat Spencer got 8. Moreover, Curry’s name is frequently on the injury report. Nothing seems to be going right.
Kerr’s tactics employ fast movements and catch-and-shoot threes. Another netizen wrote, “Cannot keep running around the screens.” The Warriors’ Point Guard turned 36 recently, and age seems to be catching up to him. This raises the question of how long can he keep up with the fast movements Kerr employs. Curry has made a name by constantly moving on offense, looking for the slightest opportunity to shoot.

With D’Anthony Melton out for the season, the Warriors need to get their starting five right. One user commented, “Looks like a soon to be 37 year old guard who has no one else on his roster that can create their own shot.” The Warriors’ roster has been lackluster. Buddy Hield started off the season on fire but has cooled down since. Jonathan Kuminga needs to fit into the Warriors system, and he prefers driving in rather than catch-and-shoot threes. The offensive load on Curry has been massive.
“he is tired of Kerr’s bu-lsh-t,” said one person. Well, Kerr’s rotation has been heavily criticized. Even Steph Curry wants it cut down to a 10-man rotation because he’s been sitting in the 4th quarter when his team needs him most. Kerr keeps veterans off the court even when the team needs their experience.

But Curry seems to be taking it sportingly. He said after the Suns game, “I’m not worried about it. It’s just the deeper you get into your career, the more things pop up, and you just got to figure it out.” Looks like he’ll be fine.
