The Golden State Warriors seemed to have ticked all boxed in the offseason. The team produced its third straight win in the preseason games. After defeating the Los Angeles Lakers in both games, the Warriors took on the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night. Importantly, without Stephen Curry and Chris Paul. The team, mostly led by the bench players, pulled off a close victory against De’Aaron Fox’s men. However, a 20-year-old rising star’s performance rightly caught the attention of a 9x NBA Champion, as he heaped praise post the game.

Coming off as 2021 champions, the Warriors had an average season in the 2022-23 edition. Especially, Steph Curry missed multiple games because of two injuries. Despite that, the Dubs managed to reach the Conference semi-finals. Nevertheless, the team seemed to have started this campaign in a clean state. Additionally, the team has found its replacement for Jordan Poole.

Over the last decade, the Dubs have emerged as the most successful team in the league, reaching six Finals and winning 4 rings. The team sure did have skilled players like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant, but always criticized for lacking athletic player. However, 20-year-old Jonathan Kuminga seemed have answered the question as 9x NBA champion head coach, Steve Kerr said himself. Importantly, a replacement for Jordan Poole.

During the post game press conference, a journalist enquired JK’s performance, who dropped 28 points. Kerr said, “We are not the most athletic team, we are skilled team… If he [Kuminga] can attack and get to the rim and get to the foul line, then makes us a better team.”

The game went down the live wire, when the Kings tied the game and forced over time. However, the dominant Warriors comfortably closed a 115-121 victory.

The Portuguese soccer superstar recently went viral for his header at approximately 9.6 feet height. Many across the world attempted to beat the iconic header but failed to recreate. However, the Dubs star Kuminga achieved the unthinkable.

In the offseason, JK signed a one-day contract with the prestigious soccer team, Real Madrid. He involved himself in drills and ground sessions with the team. Upon which he cleared a 10 feet header and shared the video on his Instagram stories.
