The superstar will turn 40 in a few days and is still running the show. Fans and experts always have had their magnifiers handy to call out LeBron James’ deficiency, citing his age. But, the Lakers‘ living legend had always come on top, consistently showing up and winning games. However, on Sunday night, the superstar handed his critics a talking point with his weary interview after the close win over the Utah Jazz. Above all, the Akron Hammer revealed his big concern ahead of the Minnesota challenge.
After the win over the Jazz, Bron wasn’t at his best during the post-game interview. Usually, we find a cheerful or calm person taking up questions irrespective of the result of that night’s game. But this time, he looked completely weary and even yawned a couple of times, providing the fodder to the critics. A reporter even asked if he could get some sleep on the flight before landing in Minnesota for the back-to-back game.
LeBron James immediately said, “I won’t be able to sleep on this flight, for sure. Everything is still like running, you know, from the game and depending on how I feel once I get to Minnesota. I hopefully. I’ll be able to sleep.” Nevertheless, heading back to the subject, the tired superstar expressed his anxiety before facing the Timberwolves. King James said, “We going to get the Western Conference Finals Minnesota tomorrow so we look for to that challenge and going to be very challenging for us. We don’t know who’s in and who’s out.”

The LA side has all the spotlight as usual. And with JJ Redick taking over the coaching job, the critics quickly assess and pass their judgments. On the other hand, LeBron James himself went into a slump after a spectacular run early in the season. In the last five games, the superstar ended the games with a minus figure in the +/-.
However, in the win against the Jazz, James managed to keep the +/- at 0. It’s indeed a positive sign.
Moreover, the win came despite the absence of two role players on the roster, D’Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves. So, this win is definitely a boost for the Lakers to come out of their dark phase. James also highlighted the efforts of the reserves and bench units who turned up for the Jazz, saying, “Everybody that came in and gave us good minutes cuz we needed, we was only 10 deep, tonight.”

Heading into the Wolves’ game, AR and D’Lo are still uncertain about returning to the game. So, the Lakers bench may have to produce a similar run tonight to put the team on the winning streak. Considering the depth of the Wolves roster, it may not be a similar challenge to the Jazz game. Will the Lakers outsmart the Wolves? Let us know in the comments below.
