Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors are back with vengeance! Though the point guard will play without Klay Thompson this year, fans are elated that their team is all set up for the regular season to begin. This is Curry’s 16th season in the league and the ceiling is high, as they’re headed to Portland in hopes of having a good start. Just like the fans, Ayesha Curry is all charged up to watch her husband chase another championship trophy this year. She took to Instagram to let the 4x NBA Champion know she’s rooting for him.
Unfortunately, she could not be on the road with Steph and had to watch this game from home in California, more than 600 miles away. Maybe the memories from the last season are still fresh in her mind because she decided to share a montage of Steph Curry highlights and attached a heartfelt message to it.
“Let’s gooooooo my baby! God is good! So proud of you,” Ayesha wrote and tagged her husband in the Instagram story. She re-shared Steph’s original Instagram post titled, “You know the vibes. Season 16 loading….” For the regular fan, it’s just a usual video of Steph Curry being Steph Curry. Dropping threes, making crazy passes. You know, the usual stuff.

Towards the end of the video, the GSW point guard had a special message for the fans. “Super excited to be back to figure out what this team needs to do to win. Just the challenge of putting all the pieces together. We got a lot of new faces and it’s going to be fun from day one.” Yeah, with Klay Thompson leaving, the front office was left with no choice but to hunt for sharpshooters. Buddy Hield, De’Anthony Melton, and a re-energized Moses Moody are some names causing a buzz in Dub Nation.
With that being said, Steve Kerr’s army is coming off unbeaten in the preseason, including a double win against LeBron James‘ Lakers. “We say it all the time in training camp. It’s a way of thinking if you want to be great in this league, but it is true for us more than ever. You know, every day does matter for us to be able to figure this thing out,” Curry continued saying, in the video.
But coming back to Ayesha Curry, she’s quite family-centric and her husband isn’t the only member of the Curry family that she’s invested in.

“Happy birthday Flossssssss!! 30 on em!” Stephen Curry noted on his IG Story with a picture of his sister. It was a Cowboy-themed, all-girls party with drinks flowing “straight down the hatch!”
With this, the Curry siblings have hit their 30s and life might have a lot of surprises down the road. For Steph, though, there might not be a lot of time to think about the unexpected things ahead of him because he has an NBA season to dominate. Can he do it?
