With his new Mind The Game Podcast, LeBron James has recently started showcasing what a great basketball mind he has. Analyzing every play and dissecting every strategy with co-host JJ Redick, LBJ has proven that the game is as mental as it is physical. And while he constantly gives free advice on the pod, LeBron finally got proof of his knowledge because of what transpired in tonight’s Pacers vs. Celtics game.
Tyrese Haliburton and Co. lost 133-128 in overtime and the Pacers’ strategic error that eventually cost them the game led to LeBron reiterating his old advice on social media. However, this time, the legend’s ‘told you so’ action did not sit well with Celtics fans, emitting an outrage.

During an episode of his podcast, LeBron recently explained why he believes it’s the best move to foul the opponent when your team is up by three points in the closing seconds. However, Rick Carlisle must have skipped that episode because he chose to not foul the Celtics when the Pacers were up 3 with less than ten seconds remaining in the final quarter. That crucial mistake led to Jaylen Brown hitting a game-tying three-pointer to send the game to overtime. Watching the Pacers lose their lead, LeBron tweeted, “And yall still wanna know why I would foul up 3 EVERY SINGLE TIME??” with multiple facepalm emojis.

Despite the Celtics fans criticizing LeBron on socials, he did have high praise for the team’s effort in Game 1, specifically their latest signing.
LeBron James’ 4-word praise for Jrue Holiday as Celtics survive Game 1 vs Pacers
At one point, the Celtics were cruising to victory leading the Pacers by thirteen points. But the Pacers turned the game around in the second half, making a miraculous comeback. Fortunately, Jayson Tatum and Co. didn’t lose focus and won the thrilling encounter in overtime. And a major reason for their victory was the amazing effort of Jrue Holiday, who many believed got snubbed from the All-Defensive First Team this year.

But scoring 28 points in tonight’s win while dishing out eight assists and grabbing seven boards, Holiday proved why he is one of the best guards in the league. Moreover, he was the defensive anchor of the team who made three crucial steals to help the Celtics win.
And Holiday’s effort garnered huge appreciation from King James as he sided with former Miami Heat star Dorell Wright who tweeted, “Da boy Jrue 1 team All Def.” Soon after, LeBron commented on Dorell’s tweet, “That boy 1st EVERYTHING!”
That boy 1st EVERYTHING!

While LeBron is not the most liked person in the league among fans, he recognizes and appreciates great talent whenever he sees it. He did the same with Jrue Holiday after witnessing his incredible performance despite what the Celtics fans had to say for LeBron.
