Channing Frye was a part of the Cavaliers during the 2016 finals with the Warriors. On a podcast with The Athletic NBA Show, the host asked Frye to elaborate more on the situation during the match. And Channing did not shy away from making the revelations.
He said, “Of course. Of course. What do you mean? Of course. Everybody was trying to bait him. Are you joking? He shouldn’t have had those many fouls. He shouldn’t be kicking people in their wee wee. It is not our fault. We are supposed to take advantage.

He continued, “Hey if somebody’s shoe is untied, I’m gonna step on their laces. No harm, no foul. It is part of the game. He knew we were baiting him. If you watch that game, everyone was trying to bait him. And they are mad about it. Do you know what they were mad about? The 25 other technicals. Crazy technicals”.
Nobody’s forgetting the groin-kicking incident in a hurry. Earlier, Draymond Green went ahead and put the NBA audience and an analyst on full blast, and questioned why his antics were dragged as a reference in 2021. Social media is abuzz with a discussion about the ‘groin kick’ and its repercussions.
